Friends of the Arts- Current President, Dawn Fisher.
This auxiliary exists solely as an extension of AACC. Membership is open to adults who are patrons and supporters of African American culture. 

The purpose of this auxiliary is to plan and execute activities that promote and support the Afro-American and that enrich the experience and knowledge of its members, while increasing Center membership and attendance at Center activities and events. The Friends are charged with establishing its own by-laws and electing its own officers, and shall appoint one of its members to the Board of Directors of AACC.

Meeting Calendar 2008 

General Meetings: Beginning in March, meetings will occur monthly, the 4^th Wednesday, 6pm – 7:00pm at the AACC. The July meeting will be held at an offsite location to be determined. 

Committees are expected to set regular meetings or as needed to complete their assignments and activities. 

Note: There will not be a meeting in December.
