Afro-American Cultural Center
Deeded to the Afro-American
Cultural Center in 1986, the shotgun houses, built during the late
1890s, were originally located in the former Third Ward neighborhood
called “Blandville.” One house is now fully furnished with
1940’s period furniture and open to the public.
