GOT QUESTIONS? GET ANSWERS!

Charlotte, NC — The Afro-American Cultural Center (AACC) remains a place for the community to gather information and share perspectives on issues that impact lives.

In light of their mission, the Afro-American Cultural Center invites the public to join an open forum on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 6:00 – 8:00 pm to discuss:

                                                The Light Rail Tax Debate

                                                The School Bond Package

Panelists will represent both sides of the issues and include Dr. Elva Cooper, CMS Area Superintendent; Community Activist Richard McElrath; and City Councilman Don Lochman.  Carolyn Mints, Community Affairs Director of the Mint Museum, will serve as moderator.

The forum will take place in the AACC Attic Theater at 401 North Myers Street.  Seating is limited.  The community is encouraged to come out early to ensure that their voices are heard.

An informed voter is a decisive voter.
