Uptown Wayfinder

The Gantt Center is located in the "South" quadrant of Uptown Charlotte. The South quadrant is color coded orange. As you approach Uptown Charlotte from major highways, you'll notice a color coded wayfinding system in place to assist in maneuvering around the downtown area. These signs help guide visitors to various Uptown attractions.

Directions - Car

I-77 Northbound

• Take I-77 heading North towards Charlotte
• Take exit 9 to merge onto I-277 N / US-74 E
• Take exit 1E to merge onto S. College St. towards Time-Warner Cable (Bobcats) Arena
• Turn left at E. Stonewall St.
• The Gantt Center's on the right at the corner of E. Stonewall and S. Tryon St.
• Continue on Stonewall St., cross Tryon St. to enter the parking garage on your right

I-77 Southbound

• Take I-77 heading South towards Charlotte
• Take exit 9 to merge onto I-277 N / US-74 E
• Take exit 1E to merge onto S. College St. towards Time-Warner Cable (Bobcats) Arena
• Turn left at E. Stonewall St.
• The Gantt Center's on the right at the corner of E. Stonewall and S. Tryon St.
• Continue on Stonewall St., cross Tryon St. to enter the parking garage on your right

I-85 Northbound

• Take I-85 heading North towards Charlotte
• Take exit 38 to merge onto I-77 S (veer right)
• Take exit 9 to merge onto I-277 N / US-74 E
• Take exit 1E to merge onto S. College St. towards Time-Warner Cable (Bobcats) Arena
• Turn left at E. Stonewall St.
• The Gantt Center's on the right at the corner of E. Stonewall and S. Tryon St.
• Continue on Stonewall St., cross Tryon St. to enter the parking garage on your right

I-85 heading South

• Take I-85 heading South towards Charlotte
• Take exit 38 to merge onto I-77 S (veer left)
• Take exit 9 to merge onto I-277 N / US-74 E

• Turn left at E. Stonewall St.

Directions - Light Rail

Take the LYNX Blue Line to the Stonewall Street station. After exiting the train, walk one (1) block northeast on Stonewall Street towards S. Tyron Street. The Gantt Center is on the corner of Stonewall and S. Tryon Street.

Parking

Parking for Levine Center for the Arts is located on the first two levels under the Duke Energy building at the corner of South Tryon and Stonewall Street. To access the garage, visitor entrances are located on West Stonewall and South Church Streets. Discounts are available to patrons of The Gantt Center when you bring your parking ticket to be validated. There are also other surface lots and parking garages within short walking distances of The Gantt Center. Please adhere to those lots' and garages' prices, terms and conditions.
